The Allen & Heath WZ20S console is designed to provide a fully featured radio production mixer without the cost of an expensive modular console. Built around proven low noise circuitry, this console is a reliable workhorse with every facility for the studio or voice-over artist. There are 4 mono mic/line inputs and 8 double stereo line input modules in a 19" rack mounted steel chassis with a hinged rear connector panel. Loudspeaker muting is possible with the addition of replacement faders, as is fader start. Please call for details

Every mono input channel has a balanced XLR mic input with 48V phantom power and a line input on a balanced jack. 4 band EQ is provided as is a low cut filter and a 30dB attenuator. An insert point is provided to connect compressors etc. with a separate direct output.

Every stereo input channel has one balanced jack input and a second switchable input on a phono connector, both having individual gain controls. 4 band EQ is provided as is a mono switch.

There are 6 auxiliary sends on all channels and these can be pre or post fade and grouped as stereo pairs in case stereo clean feed is required. Channel on button, PFL button and a peak level indicator is provided on all channels and a smooth acting 100 mm fader gives superb user control. Every channel is switch selectable to feed either or both mixer outputs. Sub mix operation is possible and remote starts are available as an option.

Both mixer outputs have their own fader and LED level metering. Comprehensive monitoring is possible for both mixer outputs, pre fade listen, all auxiliary sends and two external inputs. A dim control can mute or dim monitor loudspeakers and automatic muting when a mic fader is raised can be provided as an option. Split pre fade/mix output monitoring is selectable and a mono button serves as a handy phase check.
