The
AMPETRONIC ILR2 Induction Loop Receiver/Monitor is a small, very efficient,
portable unit for use with Audio Induction Loops. The receiver can be used in
situations where a hearing aid is worn but is not equipped with a telecoil.
The receiver is shipped complete with lightweight headphones, but any stereo headphone
equipped with a 3.5 mm plug, and with impedance of less than 16 ohms can be
used.
Additionally, the ILR2 receiver can be used by anyone with normal hearing who wants to hear an amplified sound signal via an Induction Loop. Such instances exist in:
- Induction Loop Monitoring
- Visitor guidance
- Museum commentary
- Single-language translation
- Instructions to people who must remain mobile
- Noisy environments, when used with ear-defender style headphones
The receiver is suitable for both speech and music, and can be switched from flat response to hearing-aid response where the low frequencies are severely attenuated. This also assists the rejection of power circuits magnetic radiation (hum).
The AMPETRONIC ILR2 carries a 5 year warranty. The headphones are covered for 6 months from the date of sale.
